Meet Our CEO
Robert Seigel, MD.
CEO Owner
Dr. Seigel founded Rural Surgical Associates–a new rotational model for general surgical coverage–as a way to provide quality care to sole community provider hospitals in rural and underserved communities in New Mexico. Dr. Seigel graduated from Northwestern University Medical School in 1972, and subsequently completed residency and fellowship at the University of Michigan. From 1980–1986, he served as Chief of Neuroradiology at the University of New Mexico. Following 20 years of practice in Denver, he returned to New Mexico in 2006 as a founding member of Rural Radiology Associates, a rotational radiology group that served the communities of Las Vegas, Roswell, Silver City, and Taos.
