Robert Seigel, MD.
Dr. Seigel founded Rural Surgical Associates–a new rotational model for general surgical coverage–as a way to provide quality care to sole community provider hospitals in rural and underserved communities in New Mexico. Dr. Seigel graduated from Northwestern University Medical School in 1972, and subsequently completed residency and fellowship at the University of Michigan. From 1980–1986, he served as Chief of Neuroradiology at the University of New Mexico. Following 20 years of practice in Denver, he returned to New Mexico in 2006 as a founding member of Rural Radiology Associates, a rotational radiology group that serves the communities of Las Vegas, Roswell, Silver City, and Taos.x
Aiden O’Rourke, M.D.
Aiden is a board certified general surgeon with over 33 years of experience in general surgery. Dr. O’Rourke earned his medical degree from National University of Ireland and completed a residency in general surgery at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, Ireland. He completed his surgical residency at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center.x
Teddi Swidinsky, M.D.
Dr. Swidinsky is a board certified general surgeon with over 10 years of experience in general surgery. She earned her medical degree and completed her General Surgery Residency for the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada.
Dr. Swidinsky brings a wealth of experience to Northern New Mexico. Her passion is to serve rural communities such as Las Vegas. She is committed to providing quality, compassionate, and supportive care to her patients and their families.x
Dr. Pence is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, Sports Medicine Specialist and has 15 years experience in the field. She attended Kansas City University of Medical and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri. After receiving her degree, Dr. Pence completed her Orthopedic Residency at Henry Ford BiCounty Hospital and a Sports Medicine fellowship at the University of Cincinnati/Wellington Orthopedics - working with the Cincinnati Bengals and the University of Cincinnati Bearcats. For the last several years, Dr. Pence has been caring for patients in New Mexico.x
